Each vial with lyophilized contains:
Somatropin (biosynthetic) 5.3 mg equivalent to 16 U.I.
Each vial with diluent contains:
Benzyl alcohol 0.018 g
2.0 ml water for injection
Therapeutic Indications: Pediatrics: Somatropin is indicated in children with short staturedue to inadequate secretion of endogenous growth hormone as well as in patients withgonadal Genesia dis Turner syndrome, previous genetic analysis.
Adults: Somatropin is indicated as replacement therapy by altering the hypothalamic-pituitary hormone deficiency and growth, diagnosed by dynamic tests various ticadaleast twice.
Patients also must meet the following requirements:
When the deficiency began in childhood, the patient must be evaluated to confirm the deficiency of growth hormone treatment prior to replacement.
When the deficiency begins in adulthood, the deficiency must be secondary to diseaseor pituitary hypo clearing mica, have another hor mo nal deficiency diagnosed (except forprolactine mine) and have received appropriate treatment prior to treatment with somatropin replacement .
